About Ka'u Technology
Ka'u Technology was formed to address Hawaii Island's
technology needs, specifically in the underserved District of Ka'u. In addition to
computer and network services, our work includes training the residents and workforce of
Ka'u and supplying them with the computer literacy necessary in today's technologically
enhanced workplace.
Ka'u is one of the remaining parts of the Hawaiian Islands
that is severly underserved in terms of broadband Internet connections. We have undertaken
the task of delivering broadband Internet first to Main Street Naalehu, and plan to expand
our network as the demand arises. Utilizing industry-leading wireless data delivery
standards, Ka'u Technology's wireless Internet delivery network will cover all of downtown
Naalehu, and parts of Waiohinu, Green Sands Subdivision, Mark Twain Estates, Discovery
Harbour, and Kamaoa and South Point Roads.
